Policies

Safety and inclusion is a top priority for everyone at Point-One Tennis.

Each venue will have it's own Welfare Officer and policies, that you can find on their website or noticeboard. We also have a dedicated  Safeguarding & Welfare officer at Poynton Tennis Club Jo Melville, who can be contacted at ptcsafeguarding@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns.

All of our coaches are LTA Accredited, meaning they have all completed a national safeguarding course within the last three years, have a DBS check and have been approved by the LTA to coach.

We have a number of policies and procedures in place to ensure we run safe, inclusive and fun activities at all times. We work closely with each venue and Club Welfare Officer to try and exceed the LTA safeguarding national standards.

Weather

Yes – It rains a lot in this country! Our philosophy is that we aim to not cancelled lessons unless conditions become unsafe or we believe children wouldn't enjoy themselves. If we cancel a session for any reason we will arrange catchup sessions during the half term break or at the end of the term where possible. If this is not possible then we will forward a credit to the value of the session(s).
